The Purpose of Embalming:

1.  Sanitation - bacteria is destroyed by embalming chemicals, making the body safe.

2.  Restoration - creating a natural appearance and colour.

Embalming is an art and science.  It is suggested a recent photo be provided so that the skill of the embalmer may be used more effectively to create a more natural appearence. 

The preparation of the deceased provides an opportunity to allow the reality of the death to be acknowledged before the burial or cremation and to say those last few special words.

Our embalming procedures follow the strictest practises, protocols, and Universal Precautions.

Embalming like cremation is a personal choice.
